When the rally cars roared past Memorial Park, our sausages were already sizzling.
On the weekend of April 18–19, Rally Queensland brought WRC-level street stage action to Gympie's CBD. Closed streets. Australia's fastest drivers. Metres from the barriers.
And right on the corner — with German flags flying and onions caramelising — we served thousands of spectators their pre-race Bratwurst. Our tent became a landmark on the course itself.
Heritage meets horsepower. A German food tradition, right in the middle of Queensland's loudest weekend of the year.
